The purpose of this site is to share some ideas, experiences and techiques to implement Project Management Systems in complex Programs and Projects.

I am a Program Manager with a significant experience in the delivery of complex IT Solutions for clients in many geographies and across different industries. Please refer to About Me for a summary of my experience and Download Resume for a more detailed presentation of my PM credentials.

Throughout the almosts 30 years in the trenches of systems delivery, I have implemented many PM Systems to enable the planning and execution control of projects of different sizes, duration and budget.

The ideas presented here can be used in a range of project activities. In my experience even the most humble endeavour needs a basic plan, and some mechanism to check how we are going against that plan. This is the basic principle of a PM System.

One of my colleagues once indicated that a Project Manager is like an orchestra director and the project schedule is the partiture. I very much agree with that and therefore in this site you will find some Blogs about this topic and also pages with ideas, techniques and the software that I have developed to help tackling the Schedule Management task.
